My sister was multi-handicapped (right syndrome) and was confined to a wheelchair and could in no way fend for herself, which can erode the family, I therefore know that there is a great need for help to support people with developmental disabilities and their families .

Plan Børnefonden supports young people between the ages of 13 and 25 in East and West Africa, where they give young people access to education, apprenticeships, new technology and the opportunity to take out a micro loan and become an entrepreneur.
Plan Børnefonden makes an extra effort for girls who are denied schooling, are married off, abused and become mothers while they are still children.

We need to put animal welfare on the global agenda, WSPA does. WSPA has operations in more than 50 countries where they stop the exploitation and mistreatment of animals.
